If I Saved All The Money During Our Marriage, Is My Spouse Entitled To It?

I am getting a divorce, and I am worried about my assets. I have saved every penny throughout this marriage, and my spouse seems to want a portion of that. Will I be forced to give my hard earned money away? I just don’t understand.
